Readers respond to the Salon article (for-pay content) that claims that the focus on Spike has ruined Buffy. I particularly like the one that argues that Spike has always been the outsider looking in, not the Cool Fonzie guy as the article claims.

It sure seems like Buffy’s going to have to kill Spike in the last episode. But the show has been canny in the past about surprising us.
