In our local paper today: Some students got sick of being fleeced by bookstores, and started their own book buyback website. So far, the site has brokered $66,000 worth of books. They’re going to try to help other students in other places set up similar sites.

David – I don’t think I’m being too picky in saying that I believe that “consumer-based capitalism” is an oxymoron. And that it might be commerce, but it’s tending toward the S word more than the C word. BTW – What do you do and how do you feel when/if Clark gets in the race (Kuttner in the Globe yesterday)? I enjoy your blog.
