It is an excellent and powerful defense, or rather support, of and for introversion.

Also greatly appreciated is all the dry humor found laced or interwoven throughout the article as well.

In my own humble(d) opinion, that is often another much overlooked and misunderstood trait (the use of dry humor and wit) of some of us introverts as well, especially by those extroverts or extro-wannabes who either appear to have little or no sense of humor.

Not only do I strongly agree with his notion, but I would also suggest my own guess that other specific groupings (if it can actually be called such) of people deep within the general population that makes up any given society has a high percentage of introverts.

* Those who seem to live in libraries, even during those times when they actually have a place of their own to live, especially throughout much of their life times.

* Those who live homeless, especially those who do not do not do well or even bother much or even anymore with shelters and the like; so they end up living out a lot when there is no other place of last resort to find some sort of roof however temporary.

* People who end up getting labeled and often forced-treated by an extrovert-dominated psychiatric system and the like.

Number me in all of the above, plus some more groupings I could potentially think of that I could later go on and on about, but then someone may possibly think me an extrovert or even an extro-wannabe instead.

The article definitely employs a humorous approach in addressing the topic to be sure.

However there are certain thoughtful questions to be posed and considered first.

They include:

1. What were the true intentions of the author when they researched, addressed and wrote about the specific topic?

2. What type of humor is it?

and then, depending on what the answers to those questions are:

3. How truly humorous is it for some?
